Zambia Devolution Support Project is a Government initiative designed to strengthen the Capacity of Local Authorities to deliver services more efficiently and efficiently. The project supports the country’s boarder, decentralizations’ agenda by providing technical, infrastructure development and performance based grants, aimed at improving planning, financial management, and service delivery at District level.
Through ZDSP local authorities receive support to enhance transparency and citizens participation, accountability in the implementation of local development programme. Overall ZDSP plays a key role in empowering Districts to manage there own development priorities and improve the quality of Public services for citizens.
